The purpose of the SIA Elite Cars (hereinafter – Elite Cars) privacy policy is to provide a natural person – the data subject – with information regarding the purpose, scope, and protection of personal data processing, as well as other information when processing the data subject’s personal data.

Elite Cars processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2016 April 27 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter – the Regulation), as well as other applicable laws and regulations.

Purposes, legal bases, and principles of personal data processing

Elite Cars processes personal data primarily for the following purposes:

• provision of services to natural and legal persons;
• identification of a natural person, preparation, conclusion, and execution of a contract;

Please note that the list of data processing purposes contained in this privacy notice is not exhaustive; the personal data of natural persons may also be processed for purposes not mentioned in this privacy notice that are necessary to comply with the requirements of laws and regulations.

Elite Cars processes your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

• in accordance with your explicit, free, and unambiguous consent (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2016 April 27 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter – “the Regulation”))
  Article 6(1)(a);
• processing arises from your contractual obligations as a data subject or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation);
• processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the subject is subject (Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation);
• processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Elite Cars, you, or a third party (Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation).

Data collected about natural persons

For evaluation: name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, CV, and information provided in the application letter;

To establish and maintain contractual relations with the data subject: name, surname, personal identification code, home address;

For issuing an invoice to the recipient: name, surname, personal identification code, home address.

Please note that you are responsible for providing accurate personal data to Elite Cars, and in case of any changes, you are obliged to correct inaccurate personal data by informing Elite Cars.

Video surveillance

Elite Cars carries out video surveillance on the premises to ensure public order and reduce the risk of threats to public safety, to prevent or detect criminal offenses, in connection with the protection of property and the protection of vital interests of persons, including life and health.

Information about video surveillance is displayed in the form of warning signs outside the video surveillance zone.

Please be informed that only persons authorized by Elite Cars have access to CCTV recordings in connection with the purposes of personal data processing.

Recipients of personal data

Personal data may be obtained from Elite Cars by state and local government institutions in the manner prescribed by laws and regulations.

Personal data processors may be used for the processing of your personal data.

In such cases, Elite Cars takes the necessary measures to ensure that such processors process personal data in accordance with the instructions of Elite Cars and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and requires that appropriate security measures are taken.

Please be informed that personal data is not intended to be transferred to a third country.

Duration of personal data storage

Elite Cars stores personal data in accordance with the defined purposes and the legal basis for personal data processing, as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:

• there is a legal obligation to store the data;
• the necessity to exercise its legitimate interests;
• it is necessary to fulfill the assumed contractual obligations;
• the data subject’s consent to the processing of personal data is valid;
• Video surveillance data is stored for no longer than 14 calendar days after recording, after which it is deleted (except in cases where storage is requested by law enforcement authorities for the purpose of investigating criminal offenses).

Access to your personal data and other data subject rights

• To obtain information about the personal data processed by Elite Cars regarding the data subject, the data subject has the right to contact Elite Cars and receive information in the manner prescribed by laws and regulations.
• The data subject has the right to request the restriction of personal data processing, to object to the processing of personal data, to request the correction of personal data, as well as, in certain cases, its deletion in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation.
• Elite Cars communicates with the data subject: in person, having previously identified the data subject; by mail, sending a registered letter to the person’s registered address; by e-mail, responding to the e-mail address indicated in the data subject’s application, signed with a secure electronic signature.
• In case of a personal data protection breach or suspicion of a personal data protection breach, we invite you to contact Elite Cars or the Elite Cars data protection specialist.
• Complaints regarding personal data protection breaches may also be submitted to the personal data supervisory authority – the Data State Inspectorate (address: Elijas iela 17-2, Riga, LV-1050).

Profiling

Profiling is any automated processing of personal data to analyze or predict you. Elite Cars does not perform this.

Data subject’s consent to data processing and the right to withdraw it

• The data subject has the right to withdraw the consent given for data processing at any time by writing to info@elitecars.lv or by submitting an application to the legal address of Elite Cars, in which case further data processing based on the consent given for the specific purpose will not be carried out.
• The withdrawal of consent cannot terminate data processing that is carried out based on other legal grounds.

Ensuring data security

Elite Cars has implemented electronic, physical, and administrative security measures to guarantee the security of the collected information. Your data is stored securely. It is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction by any organization or person. The website www.elitecars.lv is hosted on servers that are secure and equipped with the latest data protection technologies.
