Components of the vehicle part

Engine damage

• Seized piston rings, lubricant and filter elements, decarbonisation;

• Burnt or compressed valves or valve seats caused by normal wear and tear, or by the use of fuel not recommended by the manufacturer;

• Damaged cylinder heads, removal of carbon deposits;

• All other units inside and outside the engine and their normal wear and tear;

• Wear and tear of the crankshaft and connecting-rod assembly bearings;

• Wear or tear of the drive chain or timing belt of the engine’s valve timing mechanism.

Gearbox damage

• All other components not specifically mentioned above;

• Burnt components and their normal wear and tear;

• Clutch slippage not caused by sudden failure;

• All external linkage connections, adjustments made, electrical components, solenoids, external leakage of lubricants and any other component not specifically stated, including bearings and oil-tight seals.

Drive damage

• Dust boots, sleeves, drive shafts and any other components not specified above;

• Normal wear and tear.

General exclusions

• External oil leakage;

• Damage caused by natural disasters or accidents;

• Gaskets, plates and consumables, such as oil, oil filters, and antifreeze, unless their replacement is unavoidable due to a malfunction of a warranted component;

• Carbon deposits in particulate filters (DPF, GPF), catalytic converter;

• Housings, where the damage was not caused by a malfunction of a warranted component;

• Any other component or group of components not specifically stated in clause 2.3 of the Agreement, all routine maintenance of the Vehicle, the components and materials used therein, and normal wear and tear parts.
